Bill Gaston
Principal/Founder
With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Bill has successfully managed projects exceeding $100 million, ranging from clubhouse facilities and medical centers to luxury homes and industrial facilities. His extensive portfolio includes a diverse array of projects, such as office buildings, retail spaces, fire stations, apartments, and assisted living facilities. Bill, a licensed state-certified builder since 2002, co-founded BUILD in 2006. He holds a degree from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction.
Jay Howard
Principal/Founder
Jay co-founded BUILD with Bill Gaston in 2006. Jay currently leads BUILD’s projects throughout the southeast, driving the company’s growth outside of Southwest Florida.

AJ Bremerman
Vice President
Bio
AJ graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing. He added a Florida Real Estate Broker’s license to his resume prior to joining the BUILD team in 2010 as an Assistant Superintendent.
AJ quickly took on more responsibility being promoted to Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager. As a result of his onsite field construction education, he gained experience on a wide variety of projects. Often utilizing strategic thinking to keep projects on schedule and within budget while facing multiple challenges, AJ’s quest for perfection is a driving force in all he does. He was named Vice President in 2015, focusing on strategic growth and developing company-wide priorities to address key business issues.
Beyond work, AJ enjoys spending time with his family boating and fishing both here in Naples and in North Carolina. He supports our local community by serving as a board member on The Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation and is a proud graduate of Leadership Collier, Class of 2017.

Norm Gentry
Vice President
Bio
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida in 1991, Norm immediately started his career in the construction industry as an Estimator/Project Manager. Over the years Norm has gained experience in wide variety of projects including: healthcare, office space, industrial, hospitality, club facilities, schools, retail and multifamily residential. Norm is certified general contractor and a LEED Accredited Professional in green building practices and has completed several LEED Certified facilities. Norm joined BUILD as a Vice President in 2017; bringing his leadership, knowledge of all construction phases, and passion to help others with him. He leads by example and is always available to assist others. His work on the Shelly Stayer Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Baker Senior Center, & Naples Players Theater Renovation and Expansion are prime examples of his commitment to the community.
Outside the office, Norm enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing, and shooting sporting clays. Norm is very involved in the local community as a graduate of Leadership Collier Class of 2010, serving on the Collier County Development Services Advisory Committee since 2015, and is active in the Collier Building Industry Association serving as a board member and President.

Brian Mayotte

Bio
Brian joined the BUILD family in 2016, bringing over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. With expertise in both commercial and residential contracting, he has worked on retail spaces, clubhouses, luxury single-family custom homes, and multi-family projects. At BUILD, Brian focuses on bespoke homes and renovations, spanning from Alabama to Marco Island. As Vice President, his responsibilities include owner relations, contracts, budget control, value engineering, and overseeing project teams from pre-construction to post-construction. Outside of BUILD, Brian enjoys coaching local high school lacrosse, as well as hunting, fishing, and maintaining his personal fitness.

Bio
Kevin has years of experience in both luxury residential and commercial construction. As an Estimator/Project Manager, he oversees the budget, operations, schedules, and financial reviews from start to finish, providing expert guidance and leadership to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Steven Jackson

Bio
Steven has been a dedicated professional in the construction industry since 1997, managing a wide range of commercial projects across the United States and holding certifications in 14 states. His extensive experience includes government and military projects, hospitals, aviation facilities, and condominiums, where he has developed a deep understanding of the unique requirements of each. Steven’s expertise in handling complex and large-scale projects has allowed him to deliver exceptional results time and time again. Outside of work, Steven enjoys traveling and cherishing quality time with his family.

Paul Leonard
Project Manager
Bio
Paul has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, managing a wide variety of commercial and residential projects across the United States. His expertise spans multi-family and custom homes, commercial, restaurant, and retail projects, as well as mass transit, railroads, schools, county parks, and government and military work at the local, city, county, and federal levels. At BUILD, he focuses on custom homes and renovations in the Sanibel and Captiva area, bringing his extensive experience to every project.

Reade Moorman
Project Manager
Bio
Reade has over ten years of experience estimating and managing luxury renovation and custom home projects. He possesses a strong working knowledge of construction, engineering, architectural, and design principles and practices. Reade has extensive experience with luxury condo renovations in the Parkshore area and is passionate about pushing the limits of design, often incorporating unique features that set his projects apart.

Gary Smith
Project Manager
Bio
Gary brings over 25 years of experience in both luxury residential and commercial construction. He has extensive expertise in clubhouse and amenity construction, with notable projects including work with Mediterra, YMCA, Lennar, Tallis Park, and Mattamy Homes. Having previously served as an on-site supervisor, Gary is deeply involved in overseeing the details of each project, ensuring smooth transitions from start to finish. His commitment to putting client experience first has resulted in exceptionally high customer satisfaction rates. Outside of work, Gary enjoys coaching lacrosse and exploring the Florida Keys.

Nick brings a Master's degree in Construction Management from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and has been an integral part of the BUILD team for over 10 years. With a diverse background in both commercial and residential construction, Nick has successfully completed a wide range of projects, including luxury apartment complexes, clubhouses and amenity centers, restaurants, and bespoke homes. Known for his exceptional problem-solving skills, Nick is adept at navigating complex challenges and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Bio
Rob brings over 20 years of expertise in luxury residential construction, specializing in new builds and remodels of custom homes in Naples and Port Royal. At BUILD, he also leads luxury condominium renovations, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring each homeowner’s vision is brought to life. Rob oversees every project from start to finish, meticulously managing timelines and quality to exceed client expectations. Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, home improvement projects, triathlons, and camping.

Kauê Barone
Assistant Project Manager
Bio
Kauê joins BUILD with a background in architecture and real estate development, having worked in Brazil as an architect. He holds a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Fine Arts in São Paulo. At BUILD, Kauê supports our Project Managers on residential projects, focusing on budgeting, project operations, scheduling, and resource management. His diverse experience includes completing mixed-use commercial properties, hotels, and residential homes in both Brazil and Miami. Outside of work, Kauê enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, and staying active with various sports.

Scott Bedri
Assistant Project Manager
Bio
Scott brings extensive experience in both design and construction execution, holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is highly proficient in AutoCAD, with expertise in drawing, editing, and scaling blueprints. Scott has managed multi-million dollar projects, including large multi-family communities, and has been onsite with the Soltura Development communities. Outside of BUILD, Scott enjoys spending quality time with his daughter.

Phillip Ciancimino
Assistant Project Manager
Bio
Philip holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. At BUILD, he focuses on commercial projects, with a particular emphasis on renovations. He played a key role in the technically complex renovation of The Naples Players Theatre. Philip is passionate about utilizing the latest technology to enhance construction efficiency. He will be a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida by the end of the year. Outside of work, Philip enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, fishing, and pickleball.

Chris Douglas
Assistant Project Manager
Bio
Chris joins BUILD with a degree in Civil Engineering from University of Florida. He works closely with clients, subcontractors, and design professionals to ensure effective communication, solve problems as they arise, and deliver high-quality results. With experience in both residential homes and commercial construction, Chris has managed both new builds and hurricane repairs. In his free time, Chris travels to support his wife in medical school and enjoys spending time on the water and in the air as both a boater and a pilot.

Finlay White
Assistant Project Manager
Bio
Finlay brings 10 years of construction experience and a degree in Human Resource Management to BUILD. He plays a key role in project management, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, operations, and resource management. With experience in both commercial and residential projects, Finlay is instrumental in the multi-phase Imperial Crossings apartment complex. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
